Matthew Apping

Bio

Matthew Apping is the Project Manager at Earth Mother Magazine.  He is originally from the Caribbean. However, he doesn’t like the beach or the sun but loves the food and warm culture. He holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, the professional accreditation of Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) from the Project Management Institute. He is passionate about volunteering and is also the Director - Project Management Office for Equal Aqua Uganda whose mission is to work with deprived rural communities in Uganda by organising practical skills workshops, construction of boreholes and water tanks with eco-bricks, delivering MHM curriculums for schools, WASH programmes and establishing WASH Leaders. He decided to join our organisation because he loves working on projects that positively impact society and the environment together with international colleagues that share his values and work ethics.
